Past Performance: Rapid Information Transmission (RIT)
Rapid Information Transmission (RIT) Dragon provided SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego (SSC-SD) Code 273 with systems and software engineering support for the RIT project. This effort involved the entire software development cycle from concept, through design, development, integration, and deployment. For the RIT project, Dragon staff provided systems and software engineering for the design and development of the Exploitation Report Manager (ERM) software as well as Program Management support for the RIT concept. The RIT project was an effort to re-engineer the imagery reporting process to provide interactive imagery intelligence support to the warfighter for time-critical decision making, targeting and threat warning. For RIT, we interacted with imagery analysts and the operational community to restructure the imagery exploitation and reporting process while servicing imagery analysts' requirements to provide a technical solution to reduce their workload. We authored the community's RIT CONOPS and outlined an integrated end-to-end architecture for the intelligence community, providing recommendations for approaches to develop an n-tiered web services architecture. Dragon analyzed requirements, then designed and developed the Exploitation Report Manager (ERM) software to meet the intelligence community's RIT needs. Dragon was involved in all phases of engineering, as well as test and evaluation, configuration control, and operational support for the RIT ERM. The ERM is object oriented in design and implemented using Java, C and HTML. Developing the ERM required an in-depth understanding of various communications networks and broadcasts including the following: Integrated Broadcast Service – Simplex, IBS-Interactive, Link-16, SIPRNET Mail Transfer Protocol. The ERM was developed with interfaces to Image Product Library, Global Command and Control System (GCCS), and Command and Control PC (C2PC). Dragon staff also created the documentation required for DODIIS accreditation. Operational support included installation and training. Other Past Projects
